The Hamilton Ruritan Club has joined forces with the Hillsboro Ruritan Club to jointly hold the Saturday Morning Trash Collection Service at Loudoun Valley High School.
Each Saturday morning from 8:30 - 11:am volunteers will be standing by to load your trash into trucks for the trip to the landfill. For $2.00 per bag you can save yourself the trip and support many worthy community projects. The clubs will alternate hosting the event on a monthly basis. This is a great volunteer opportunity for members of both clubs.

Community Service and Outreach

Ruritan’s main purpose is service to the community – the center of American life. From the community come our ideas, our integrity, our moral strength, and our leadership. Ruritan is about building a better America by helping to build better communities.

One of the objectives of the Ruritans that is set forth in Article II of the local Club constitution is: “To promote fellowship and goodwill among its members and the citizens in the community, and inspire each other to higher efforts.” Our Club does this by getting together at monthly meetings for dinner and a program and by working together on community service committees and various activities.

Membership in Ruritan is an honor and privilege and involves duties and obligations. As you continue to serve in this Club, we hope you experience the satisfaction of working together and sharing its accomplishments.
